Headboards generally give the bed a color and can be matched with other bedroom furniture. They can make the bed look more chic, sophisticated, or antique. Some are available in black, brown, or beige. There is really no limit to the colors they can be. If the bed is not available in the color you want, you can always paint it. You can get a white board and paint it the color you desire. Although they are not necessary to hold the bed together, they give it a unique style that adds flavor to the room.
